Yes, we are licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services.

What is your discipline policy?

At the Castle guideance is always positive and the teachers resolve conflicts through teaching and redirecting.

How are teachers chosen?

Beverly Castle staff are selected for their expertise, knowledge and commitment to teaching young children. All Staff members must meet or superceed the requirements of The Beverly Castle Academy of Early Education and the Department of Children and Family Services.

Is ongoing teacher training required?

Yes, a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training is required per school year.

How many classrooms are there in the Beverly Castle?

There are five early childhood classrooms. Children are placed according to desired program, age and availability.

Is there an outside play area?

Yes, there is an secured outside play area exclusively for Castle students.

Is parent involvement encouraged?

Yes, we always welcome parents to celebrate their children with us by attending classroom functions, field trips, and participating in guest reader/chef programs.
